Our Mission

At Skagit Lactation Coalition, we believe every drop counts. We are a team of warm hearts, guiding and supporting families on their feeding journey with care, knowledge, and a whole lot of cheer. Together, we make feeding stories blossom!

Our purpose is to:

• Advocate and implement best practices that support lactation within homes, hospitals, birthing facilities, health clinics, workplaces, and childcare facilities;
• Promote and protect supportive environments for breastfeeding, chest feeding, and the use of human milk;
• Increase equitable access to accurate information, lactation services, and culturally relevant, person-centered support.
